Cookies from Scotland

We have returned from a trip to Scotland and a chance to sample many local tastes. We were in East Lothian on the south bank of the Firth of Forth about 20 miles east of Edinburgh.

The area is sheltered, and a lot of arable farming takes place. With Edinburgh close by there is a large ready market for good quality foods of all tastes.

Whilst there we sought out many locally baked cookies and we will bring them to you over the next few weeks so you can share the tastes of Scotland too.
